Dr. Kelly Torres on Global Innovation in Educational Psychology and Technology
This is the second special edition episode of a limited-run series called Global Innovators — this is in addition to our ongoing monthly episodes. This Special Series focuses specifically work in the humanitarian intervention space.
In this episode we meet Dr. Kelly Torres, the Chair of the Chicago School of Professional Psychology’s On-Line Department of Educational Psychology and Technology. She earned her doctoral degree in Educational Psychology from Florida State University in addition to two master’s degrees in Educational Psychology and in Curriculum and Instruction. She also possesses Florida K-12 teaching certificates in English for Speakers of Other Languages and in Exceptional Student Education.
Dr. Torres has over 10 years of mentor experience working with elementary-aged learners. She also has taught numerous university-level courses in both online and classroom settings in educational psychology, foundations of education, assessment, curriculum development, linguistics, and culture.
